Under this project, IHRR deployed an advanced automatic weather and glacier monitoring station near Khangsar Glacier. The system gathers hourly climate and melt-rate data, supporting national climate modeling. Findings help identify glacial lake expansion and potential GLOF risks for downstream communities.
